was a HIT on thanksgiving. do NOT bother making this if you are a creamy, melted oozing macaroni & cheese lover (Like velveeta shells or kraft). this is not that kind of mac n cheese. this is "drier" & more gourmet.was told @ dinner that this recipe was like something they would serve @ steak house. very tasty. healthier because no eggs/cream & option to use lowfat/nofat ingredients.I did add milk & processed cheese. Make sure you put under boiler last few minutes..makes a wonderful yummy crispy top.
