About this Cook
I am a pharmacy student who loves taking breaks from studying by heading into the kitchen. I am really into healthy non-processed homemade foods. I love baking and cooking as well as canning in the summer months and brewing in the cooler months. Luckily my boyfriend never minds being my taste-tester.
My favorite things to cook
Cakes - I love cake decorating!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins
Excellent blueberry muffins. I will definitely make these again as they were perfect. They really need to be made in muffin cups since they are so tender and fluffy - otherwise they are difficult to get out of the muffin pan. Also the crunchy topping makes them look and taste like they came from a fancy bakery.

Authentic French Meringues
Really sweet and delicious recipe. For the reviewers that said that theirs did not set up: You need to beat the eggs and sugar more. I beat mine for probably 10 minutes and they turned out beautiful. I did have to cook mine a little longer than the recipe stated. After 3 hours they were still very wet inside so I closed the oven door and kept cooking them for about 40 more minutes. It was very cool in my house today (about 50 degrees), so that may have had something to do with them not being done in 3 hours; since the oven door was cracked open.

Bagels II
This is THE BEST bagel recipe. I make these so often that the recipe is attached to the side of my fridge. These bagels are delicious on their own but I think they are best when rolled in sesame and poppy seeds with a sprinkling of kosher salt.
