Best Marinara Sauce Yet

Love this quick, easy recipe. I usually double the recipe and freeze leftovers for another day. I have made several times with different kinds of wines, even used red once. The flavor of the wine makes a big difference in the taste, so make sure you use a wine you like!

Quinoa Pilaf

This was a very good recipe; we enjoyed it alot. I did add a little white wine for flavor and was very satisfied with that. I forgot the walnuts but didn't miss them, except maybe for texture.

Garlic Chicken Stir Fry

I found the sauce a little bland. The only change I made, based on what I had on hand, was using sesame oil instead of peanut oil. I think it is a decent base recipe, but it was overshadowed by the "Fried Rice Restaurant Style" from this site that I made to accompany it.

This is a wonderful recipe, quick to come together and easy. I did cook my brown rice in broth and it gave good flavor. I think I would like some onion in it next time. The only problem I have with the recipe was that I wasn't sure if I needed two cups of cooked rice, or two cups dry. I cooked two cups dry, which seemed like a little too much, but two cups cooked was definitely too little. No big deal - I just saved the extra for another meal! Thanks for a great recipe! Update: I added oyster sauce as another review suggested and it was great!

Vegetable Chowder

This was fabulous! The only changes I made were to sub fresh corn for the cauliflower, and to reduce the cheese to about 2 cups. My husband asked me to add this to our regular rotation.

I made this using the recipe for Ten Minute Enchilada Sauce on this site. Also added some garlic and beans to the vegetables. It was very good and we will make it again!

Overnight Oatmeal Recipe : Alton Brown : Food Network

My husband loves this recipe, especially with dried blueberries! I would prefer it with the fruit reduced to 1 1/2 cups, but he likes it with the full 2 cups. Also, I added about 1 cup additional water, and cooked overnight on the "simmer" setting of my slow cooker. Low might be too hot for some cookers.
