Shredded Chicken Tacos

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
OH SO GOOD!!! I made these just as written, except I didn't have ancho chili powder. I used regular chili powder instead. I also went a easy on the cumin. I put in about 1/2 - 3/4tsp. AND, you really don't need to use goya brand products... I used mostly store brand. Came out great!

Perfect Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Very good recipe! My kids (2 and 4) gobbled it up and begged for it for dinner tomorrow night!!! I did reduce the Sesame oil by half and it was still way too much. Next time I make this, I'll just add 1/2 TLBS of the Sesame oil and see how it goes. Also, I fried the chicken in canola oil. Olive oil has a very low smoke point and will breakdown and not taste very good before you finish frying your chicken. I also added a squeeze of ketchup to the sauce not only to give it some color, but to add to the flavor. This is a GREAT recipe and I will be definately be making it again with a few tweeks!

Rae's Vegetarian Chili

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2010
LOVED it!! I ended up just using the beans that I had on hand (2 cans black beans, 2 cans red beans and 1 can pinto beans). I also used 1 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes and a can of rotel tomatoes. Gave it a nice flavor and a little bit of a kick. Instead of the beer I used beef broth. I also sauted an onion with the garlic. Came out fantastic!!! Will be making again!
