I am an avid gardener who loves to find new ways to use what I grow to feed my family. I try to use local and support small farms when possible and I love frequenting farmers' markets around my area. I love to try just about anything! I do my best to suit the very particular tastes of my children which can be challenging, but it's fun too. My partner and I love to cook together. Having two perspectives and two sets of hands makes for some very interesting meals and good quality time. I also do a lot of canning and preserving and the kids are a lot of help with the process. Shelves full of home canned goods and picking ingredients out of my own garden! I cannot seem to make pancakes without burning them, I am terrible at pancakes.
