Special Buttercream Frosting

This was my first trial at the buttercream and this recipe totally rocked!! I sifted the confectioners sugar as per one of the tips in some other recipe which took a lot of time. Otherwise, I will use this recipe everytime I make cupcakes or cake!!

Ghirardelli® Classic White Chocolate Creme Brulee

I made the creme brulee and it turned very yummy! My husband loved it! I gave a star less because of the cooking time mentioned in the recipe. It took me more than 1hour 20mins to cook. When I checked them on 300 degree F after 45mins, they were still liquidy. I had read somewhere that they take more than an hour and so I increased the time. Finally I increased the temperature to 390 and then they were done. I am not sure if I have overcooked them, but they were just like the ones I tasted in restuarants, so I am happy!

Ghirardelli® Individual Soft Center Cakes

I made this once and it turned out pretty good. It tastes a little eggy if eaten after it cools down... but it was a hit when I made for a family reunion. I am planning to make this again when I will have friends over.

Rolling Fondant

It didnt turn out well and kept on breaking due to dryness...i wanted to cover a v small cake but it couldnt spread even little! I was very disappointed as I was decorating my bday cake and had put lot of efforts and $$! I had followed the recipe as suggested and infact added less sugar and thought I would add more if needed but it didnt work out for me :(.

Ghirardelli® Triple Chocolate Truffle Cake

Mind Blowing Recipe! This recipe is just too good! I made it for my husband as he is a chocolate lover...and I am sure he is gonna love it! I have just baked it and its tasting soooo good! I had to bake it on a higher temperature for some more time as 325 degrees didnt suffice so I increased to 350degrees and baked for another 20minutes.... turned out awesome! Thanks for the great recipe!
