Delicious, low fat treat. It's a little time-consuming, but worth it.

Baked Seafood Au Gratin

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2005
This is pretty difficult with many steps. Plus the ingredients, if you buy fresh, are quite expensive. But, it is absolutely delicious and very impressive! I served 8 big eaters with it, adding extra 1/2 lb shrimp and crab claws (lobster claws would be better). Everyone loved it! It's worth the extra effort.

Spiced Pecans

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2004
These are addictive! Be sure to check sooner than the time listed - ovens are very different! We lowered the temp to 325 and the pecans are usually done in less than 25-30 minutes.

It's crispy, tasty and melts in your mouth...well, you do have to chew a bit. It's the very best chicken recipe I've ever had.

Four Spice Crackles

Very good tasting cookie, but hardens quickly. Best bet is to freeze excess cookies and thaw when ready to eat.

Applesauce Snacking Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2003
This is easy to make but the directions must be followed exactly. An electric mixer is necessary. Very good for a diabetic recipe - moist and soft. Would make it again.

Crab Brunch Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2003
The 'shallow casserole' needs to be at least 7.5 x 12 inches. This cooked in exactly one hour and tasted fabulous. I used Byrd backfin lump crabmeat - expensive but worth it. I will definitely make it again.

Christmas Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2001
I changed recipe this just a bit, from 5 slices of white bread to 8 slices of seeded rye bread (made by Wegman's in Rochester NY). This rye is smaller than normal white bread. It turned out great - pleasing to the eye and the palate. I will make it again and again. signed a quality freak
