Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
This is what I did. The night before, I pulled a 4 lb pork shoulder out of my freezer, let it thaw, threw it into my slow cooker unseasoned and then emptied some Dr. Pepper over it (12 ounce bottle). I didn't have any root beer on hand. I didn't even bother with adding spices to it, didn't put salt, or a lick of seasoning on it beforehand. Why bother, it's going to get drowned in bbq sauce anyway and I was tired. OMG, easiest dinner to make ever...and SO GOOD! Two thumbs up!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake
Great recipe! It was my first time making a cheesecake and I followed the recipe and came out with almost perfect results. The cheesecake was a little too brown on the top for my tastes and it did crack (no water bath but did put a pan of water underneath the middle rack that I baked the cheesecake at). The taste though! It was so yummy and everyone really loved it. Some claimed it was the best they had ever had because of its moistness. I added lemon juice to mine and it enhanced the flavor tremendously. This is a purist's cheesecake so keep that in mind when making this.

Chicken Tikka Masala
This was a really great recipe! Everyone loved it! I didn't have the individual spices available so I marinated the chicken in 1 tbsp of garam masala (I found it at walmart in paste form in the indian food area) and then made the sauce with 2 tbsp of garam masala. I also had a little cardamom so I added 1/2 tsp to it because it felt like it was missing that warmth factor. SO YUMMY! Greek yogurt is very good as it's thick and sticks to the chicken. Marinate it overnight! It's so tender and juicy! I could have made a meal with just the chicken itself. This recipe is very comparable to anything you'd find at a good indian restaurant.
