Grilled Italian Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2012
These were absolutely delicious. I made a few for last night and a few more for leftovers, and I can't wait to eat them again. Overall, this recipe is definitely worth a try. This is one burger recipe that I would absolutely make again and again.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
I made this for a pregnant friend who couldn't have the kaluha, and I substituted double servings of a Starbucks Doubleshot (espresso and cream) for each serving of coffee flavored liquor. It used about one whole 6.5 oz can.

Grandma's Gingersnap Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2011
Fantastic recipe and much-loved by everyone who tries them. One thing: do not skimp on space between cookies on the sheet - two inches apart or bust. They spread out quite a bit while cooking!

So easy and delicious! I followed the tip to replace fruit cocktail with fresh blueberries - highly recommend that! Thanks for the recipe!

Tiramisu II

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2012
I love tiramisu and have eaten it in Italy, so I am a tough critic. This recipe was the first I ever tried to make my very own, and (after following tips to double coffee/rum mixture) I can officially give it my seal of approval. I'm so happy I found this!

Butternut Squash Fries

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2012
This was one of my favorite winter recipes. Before baking, I put all of my squash sticks into a gallon-sized plastic bag and drizzle olive oil, cinnamon and nutmeg, and shake/mix until all are coated evenly. These taste like dessert!

Cavatini II

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
I love this dish, and so does my husband. I ALWAYS add 1 lb of spicy ground Italian sausage. We're huge meat eaters in my house. Overall, it's a huge crowd pleaser!

Summery Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2013
I followed one reviewer's recommendation to use Mascarpone cheese instead, and highly recommend! I have made this pie three times in five days for different audiences (tested the pie on my husband, co-workers, and one friend who wants dessert ideas for a summertime bridal shower) and all have given it rave reviews! It's delicious and light - a perfect summertime dessert staple!

Pork Tenderloin with Dijon Marsala Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2012
I used this recipe to cook my very first tenderloin - and it's foolproof! I would highly recommend it to anyone - it's quick and easy, but the flavor is outstanding. Great find!

White Almond Wedding Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2011
This wedding cake recipe is exactly what I was looking for - tastes exactly how a wedding cake "should" taste, says me. I had no almond extract in the pantry at the time I made mine, but I doubled up the vanilla extract instead, and the result was quite yummy. Will definitely be making this one again!

Thai Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
I loved this - especially since it's so quick and easy! Like previous reviewers recommended, I used breaded chicken strips instead of grilled and added cilantro to the mix of green onions. I did opt to top the pizza with bean sprouts, which are super-healthy, but I baked them with the rest of the pizza because I didn't want them to be overly slimy or colder than the rest of the pizza.
