Royal Icing II

This turned out great. I could not find merringue powder anywhere so i used 3 egg whites. It hardened and was very easy to work with. Thankyou

Made this yesterday for our superbowl party and they went down a treat. Everyone loved them. I would recommend wearing gloves when deseeding the jalapenos and i piped the filling useing a glade bag. Excellent recipe

Christmas Cake

When i came across this recipe i was so excited as i am a massive christmas cake fan. Unfortunatly when i tasted it it was really not edable. It tasted very bitter and the texture wasnt what i was hoping for. I think that there is way too much malasses in it, hence the bitterness. I followed the recipie to exactly what it says. Also you will need to use a bigger pan. 15 minutes into cooking i had to take it out of the oven as it was overflowing. I used a 10 inch pan instead. Maybe i will make it again but with just a tablespoon of malasses

It's Chili by George!!

Made this chili last night and it was delicious. We put it in the slow cooker in the morning and the house smelt yummy all day. It was a little to mild for me so next time i will add more chili powder. I will definatly be making this again real soon
