I used pumpkin just like the recipe says and it was even easier since after Halloween our pumpkin had been out there awhile so instead of having to cut it I just mashed it up because it was so soft. I thought things were going fine at this point, its such an easy recipe! But after boiling it for awhile my daughter had a taste and threw up all over the kitchen floor. It was terrible. I had a bite and nearly lost a tooth from one of the pumpkin seeds which I assumed were supposed to get soft but they didnt!
