Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2012
This was delicious. I couldn't find andouille sausage so I used mild Italian. It was watery so I added a small bag of Vigo yellow rice into the crockpot in the last hour. PERFECT!! It was a hit. I didn't think that it was too spicy at all. Although, I probably used a lot more meat than this recipe calls for...we'll be making this again for sure!!

I LOVE THIS! I used spicy turkey sausage, low fat cream cheese and add reduced fat shredded cheddar as well. A HIT served with corn chips!

Chicken Bow Tie Salad

This recipe could be delicious if tweeked properly. I'm going to try: 1. more lime juice and cilantro 2. Salt & Pepper in the dressing 3. salt the pasta water before boiling 4. Extra veggies: Peppers & cucumbers

Heather's Cilantro, Black Bean, and Corn Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2010
This is delicious! I've been getting requests for the recipe ever since the first time that I made it! I added one 4oz can of green chilies, a couple fresh roma tomatoes. Omitted the avacado and pepper. Reduced the garlic only for parties. YUMMY!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie Stew

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
This was delicious! It will surely be our new chicken soup replacement!! I used 1 jar of gravy, 1 can cream of celery soup, 1 can whole white potatoes undrained, 1 can peas drained, 1 can corn drained, 1 can mixed veggies drained...seasoned the chicken with garlic salt and calypso seaoning. I didn't use the boullion per other reviews. Served with drop biscuits and hot sauce! YUMM!

Linda's Cranberry Cookies

Super easy and super delicious! Next time I'll add more cranberries, maybe double the amount. I'll be using butterscotch pudding next time as well. :)

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
Yum! I'm a begginer in the dessert dept. These were relatively easy but the review tips were a huge help! I used only about 25 cookies for these. Also I found from other suggestions that freezing the balls before dipping was much easier than handling them soft or even chilled. I also froze the finished product for an hour before packaging them as Holiday gifts.
