Chicken Eugene

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2003
HAVE MADE THIS FOR YEARS, ONLY WE CALL IT "CHICKEN SUZANNE". NEVER USE THE BUDDING BEFF...ONLY ARMOUR DRIED BEEF WILL DO! I'LL CUT OFF THE FATTY 1/4 TOP OF BACON SLICE...CUTS DOWN ON FAT. DON'T USE ANY SALT. ALSO, I DOUBLE SOUR CREAM & SOUP FOR MORE GRAVY/SAUCE FOR RICE. DELICIOUS & SPECIAL FOR COMPANY OR SUNDAY DINNER!

LOVED THESE! I'M A HUGE FAN OF DILLWEED...SO I ADDED SOME THE 2ND TIME I FIXED THESE AND IT WAS DELICIOUS...ALSO WITH A LITTLE PARMESAN CHEESE OR FINELY GRATED CHEDDAR. GREAT!!! THANKS FOR THE RECIPE...ITS SO VERSATILE THAT YOU CAN ADD YOUR OWN FAVORITE SPICES OR BLENDS.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew II

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2003
I added more flavor by subbing 1 can of the chx soup for 1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup w/Herbs(Campbells). That helped kick up the flavor...also added couple dashes Worchestershire. This is so easy, delicious, comforting. You can add your own personal touches or as is...very versatile. I served over noodles, a side of veggies & biscuits...GOOD!

Ranch Oyster Crackers

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2002
THESE ARE WONDERFUL! I've made these for several years now and always keep them on hand for the holidays. They are so easy & just delicious. All my family begs for more...I can hardly keep them in "stock". The dillweed is one of my favorites spices. I use it a lot in the "soup sauces" over chicken. It's really the flavor-maker for these crackers!

Very good. Nice served w/icy cold celery and a quality bottled or homemade blue-cheese dressing. My family enjoyed...we'll have it often.

Fry Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2002
I've been making my own "fry sauce" for years in SC, but didn't know it had a name or that anyone else knew/loved it like my kids & I. It is soooo good, I like 2-1 (ketchup-mayo) ratio. Never tried w/bbq sauce, but I will soon, sounds good, too.
