Bud's Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
Diana, thank you so much for posting this recipe. My mother used to make the best potato salad, among other things, and unfortunately, I never wrote the recipe down or paid too much attention when she was making it...just couldn't wait to eat it. She passed away recently and I never got the recipe. This is exactly how hers tasted and looked. Sometimes, simple is bestl. Thanks again so much and best to you in 2010! Carmel

Tasty Baked Meatballs

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2010
I finally got a chance to try this recipe and it was just perfect. I made it exactly so that I could rate it fairly. They were moist, not too spicy or bland...just right. Not having to fry them was even better...no mess! I used Reynolds no stick foil (this is a great baking tool..nothing sticks), which I use for all baking at they just slid right off. My husband can be such a pain with meatballs being just right. Many we even ordered out are just hunks of meat and no flavor. When he tried these, he said "who's meatballs are these?" and I said they were a recipe I found. He said they were great and that's all that counts...that we enjoyed them. I didn't even tell him there was mushroom soup in them since he says he doesn't like mushrooms...even though he said he's never eaten them. This recipe made so many that I even have enough for 2 more meals in the freezer. I also gave my neighbor some since she works late and would be able to just heat and eat...she loved them and thanked me so much for giving her such a delicious meal and for thinking of her.

Texas Stuffed Grilled Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
These were great as the recipe was written, except that I couldn't find the hickory by me, but will see if my market can order it. I also tried them with sauteed onions, bacon and cheddar and they were simply maaaaahvelous! Everything certainly is bigger and better in Texas!!! I passed this recipe on to my sister outside of Amarillo and she said they were great...thanks!

Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2010
These are great just as the recipe reads, but also as a great base for any additions or personal fave cheese or sausage, even adding vegetables. I use Reynolds Wrap non-stick foil and works better than parchment paper. If you want a little less greasy, one of those metal racks with holes in it put on top of a cooling rack, sprayed with non-stick spray makes it real easy to remove them. Enjoy!

Almond Chocolate Coconut Cups

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2012
These were deeee-licious! I took all the suggested tips and these came out perfect. Instead of pressing my finger into the cups to make an indent, I use a shot glass...works great. Thanks!

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2013
This was very good! I don't understand what the problem with tube pans are....there was no problem. A few reviewers mentioned a problem, but it sounded like they used a springform pan that has a bottom that removes, so the syrup might leak. A tube pan is a one piece pan that you usually make angel food cake in. Try the recipe again!

Cabbage and Dumplings

Just like my mom used to make! Soy sauce is not part of Czech cooking, though, as some used.

Twist of Honey Orange Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2013
These were really good! After reading other reviews, I baked them in a pan lined with Reynolds non-stick foil, sprayed a little Joy of Baking spray and they came out with no problem...plus, I had no pan to clean!
