Ham and Bean Soup II

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2010
I've made this soup several times. It's the best way to use up leftover ham. There is nothing about this soup that I can ever complain about. It's simple to make, and delicious

3/4 of a cup of peanut butter, and these cookies are amazing. They're so soft, and delicious. The dough is really easy to work with

Busia's Cutout Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2010
I get what everybody's saying about these not being sweet enough, because... well they aren't sweet enough. Not to the point where you think you're eating flour, but just not as sweet as most sugar cookies I've made before.. But still really fantastic! This is exactly the kind of sugar cookie recipe I was looking for. I was making Halloween sugar cookies to put onto my son's birthday cake to decorate it, and I was going to put frosting on them anyway. These are great with frosting, and the dough is incredibly easy to work with. I usually don't make cut out cookies because I hate having to roll out the dough and deal with that whole mess but this recipe didn't give me any problem at all. I'll definitely be making these again. Thanks!

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2010
A+ I made these for Easter and absolutely everyone loved them, including my 4 year old who never eats deviled eggs. My only complaint is that you can't really taste the cheese at all, and I even put more in than the recipe called for. Other than that, they were terrific and I will definitely be making these again. Thanks much!

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
WOW, I thought the meatloaf I usually make was moist... This was unbelievable! I found this recipe when trying to find a different way to make meatloaf without going crazy with the ingredients, like some recipes do. The only things I changed was the amount (I made a 2 1/2 lb meatloaf) and I used Monterey Jack cheese because thats all I had on hand. And the results were amazing. I've never had meatloaf that was as moist as this was! This is going to be the recipe I use from now on- Thanks much!

Mozzarella Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
I found this recipe as I was looking for a quick and easy way to make chicken for dinner. As I started making it, I realized I didn't have any bread crumbs but went ahead with it anyway. I didn't pound out the breasts; I just cut them in half and opened them up. I stuffed and rolled them up as directed, adding only parmesan cheese to it, and then baked them with tomatoe sauce poured over top of them. Everybody loved it! Next time I will definitely make sure I have all the ingredients to make it, though, so I can do it the right way. But still, awesome recipe. Thanks!

Gourmet Sweet Potato Classic

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
I don't think I've ever gotten as many compliments for anything I've made than I did when I made this for Thanksgiving. This was EVERYONE'S favorite dish, even my mother who really isn't fond of sweet stuff. This was incredible! I'm glad I didn't opt for the ol' marshmallow sweet potatoes

Marbled Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
AWESOME. I've never made a cheesecake this good before. I did add a LOT more spice, like everyone suggested, and refridgerated the batter for only about 20 minutes so it created a wonderful swirl. I made it for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. I think I'll be making this a holiday tradition.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
these are awesome sugar cookies. i agree with another person that said take them out at about 8 minutes- they come out very soft and delicious. i don't really like crunchy sugar cookies so THIS is the recipe I was looking for. I actually made them around Halloween and put homemade icing on top and they were amazing- best recipe hands down. the only problem i had was using a "teaspoonful" and rounding them... they came out looking like silver dollars. so i just made them a little bigger and it was perfect. i'll be making these for Christmas :)
