Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
OUT OF THIS WORLD....these were the best pork chops EVER!!!!!! This was the 10th recipe I've made from this site and this was the best one yet!! I made them with mashed potatoes and put in a half bag of peeled baby carrots and cooked w/the potatoes and mashed altogether and used evaporated milk instead of milk to give them a richer taste w/tbsp of Lawry's season salt, butter and pepper to taste --- YUM-O! And like another viewer said if you want extra gravy definitely double the gravy1 I also made w/frozen peas and carrots. Excellent meal!!!

Olive Blasta Pasta

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
This pasta was good; however, I do recommend making w/the chicken as the recipe calls for. I didn't have any and made it vegetarian style. I also didn't have basil and replaced w/oregano and didn't have parsley and had to leave out. Had I had all of the ingredients I believe this would have been very good! Nonetheless, I would definitely add twice the green onion, garlic and olive oil it calls for to add more of a robust flavor.

Shredded Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
Just like the description says...this recipe was FANTASTIC!!! Even my picky son ate them and the rest of the family who like brussel sprouts loved!! I would follow the recipe exactly but what I would change that I did is I thought it would be more favorful if I left all of the bacon grease and it was a little too greasy so definitely only reserve 2 tbsp like the recipe calls for. I will be making again!

Grilled Delmonico Steaks

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
I LOVED this recipe and would recommend and make again!!! My only suggestion would be next time I make since all of the ingredients combined have so much salt I would omit at least one tablespoon of salt or the salt altogether especially since the steak seasoning already has salt in it. And I like salt and would be fine with making this change next time.

Thirty Minute Meal

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
I made this today and would recommend and make again. I didn't have tomato soup and used a large can of crushed tomato and still used the same amount of water the recipe calls for since I added 2 cups of cooked rice at the end to stretch the recipe and added another texture. I also added chili powder as others have recommended and added a large squirt of ketchup. If you like your cabbage more well done you will want to cook at medium instead of low and for at least 30 minutes.

Brazilian White Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
This was good and I would make it again but it wasn't as flavorful as I expected. I added 4 cloves and 1 1/2 onions instead to make more flavorful. And since this is white rice it won't "brown" as the recipe says so I would saute for at least 5-7 minutes. If you do it any longer the garlic will burn.
