About this Cook
I am only 12 years old and love to cook!
My favorite things to cook
I love baking, anything that challenges me is great! I am still learning which is trouble when your mom hates a mess (you moms would understand).
My cooking tragedies
I hate it when people don't like your food but tell you that its delicious. I once made a Boston Cream Pie that I got from a kids cookbook for Mother's Day (I thought it would be pretty yummy and easy) and nobody told me how rich it was. My sister finally told me that she didn't like it because it was so rich and kind of dry. :0

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake
The cheesecake was very delicious! However, I did not have chocolate graham crackers so I combined cocoa powder, regular graham cracker crumbs, the sugar, and the melted butter. Also, while my friend and I were making the cheesecake- I accidentally added 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract instead of 1 teaspoon. The cheesecake had a very... different taste but I'm sure it would have been delicious if I didn't make that mistake. Very rich though =)

Old Fashioned Onion Rings
These onion rings were delicious! I made them for my little brother and he ate almost all of them! Although, after I dipped the onion rings in the batter and let them drip throught the wire rack, there was not much batter left on the onion rings. When I went to coat the onions in the bread crumbs, it did not come out as coated and thick as I had expected. Other than that, they were fabulous!

Beef Egg Rolls
Very good! I froze them but when they were reheated in the microwave- they turned soft and mushy. I wouldnt expect for them to be crispy but unless they are going to be eaten at the moment of making them- I suggest freezing them and either refrying them or putting them in the oven. Other than that, they are delicious and will be made again!
