Noodles Romanoff II

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2002
I messed with this recipe a bit. Used 1 cup of Parmesean, 2/3 cup of sour cream, half the salt, and 6 oz of noodles. We liked it a lot like that. We ate it all for supper-no leftovers. I agree with the first reviewer-way to much sour cream-but if you love the sour cream flavor you'd like the original recipe.

Vegetable Swiss Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2000
This recipe didn't really have a lot of flavor and the Swiss cheese doesn'r reheat well at all. We probably wont make it again.

Cheesy Corn

Reviewed: May 20, 2001
My husband and I both really liked this recipe, next time I will use a little less cream cheese-maybe 6 oz instead of 8. It's a keeper!

Mediterranean Salmon Cakes with Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2001
These are wonderful. I added in 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese b/c we can't make anything in our family w/o cheese. This recipe is pretty forgiving-I've used white and wheat, messed stuff around and it turns out good everytime. The original is perfect w/o any fiddling though!

Asiago Dip with Crostini

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2001
This was fabulous. Had a hard time finding sun dried tomatoes but it was worth the hunt. Have served this twice and both times the bowl has been scraped clean before the end of the meal. Perfect medley of flavors.

Mango Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2000
I added about 3 T sugar and a half cup of tomato salsa to the mango mix. It was a little strong. We really enjoyed this recipe, it's nice on a hot summer day. It's also great with grilled chicken breasts, you don't have to heat up the kitchen!

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2000
These are great. We dip them in a salsa/ranch mix. I've served them to my whole family of people who don't like sweet potates and they've all loved them!

Southwestern Style Chalupas

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2002
This was ok. I think for us it was one of those recipes that is nice once but you probably wouldn't make again, I liked it much better than my hubby but he's terribly picky. I think this recipe is really good-just not to make over and over for our family.

French Dip Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2000
This was terrific-we had it with cream cheese stuffed mushrooms and cooked baby carrots. The next day my husband made his sandwhich with some swiss cheese and BBQ sauce- that was great too! You can't go wrong with this recipie.

THE BEST! I have made them in the bread machine and by hand and they are perfect! I double the frosting so they are extra gooey.

Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2001
This recipe is so yummy. I make the blueberry syrup all the time and use it on pancakes, waffles, ecy. It's better than anything I've ever had from the store. My hubby was very skeptical when we tried this but he loved it too. It's definatly a keeper.

Beef and Noodle Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2001
We make this all the time at home. I stir a pkg of dry spaghetti seasoning into the meat. It's wonderful with gooet garlic cheese bread and a nice Italian salad. One of our family favorites.

Ronaldo's Beef Carnitas

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2001
I was really bummed when I meade this recipe. It smelled so good while it was cooking and when we took it out of the oven it was soooo tough. I think maybe it was the meat though-b/c lots of people have said it was tender. I will try this again-the smell was unbelievable.

Fried Chicken with Creamy Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2001
My husband and I both loved the chicken. It was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. We thought the gravy was a little bland but I haven't made a lot of gray so odds are it was my fault! Hubby said the chicken was as good as his moms!

Chicken Enchilada Casserole II

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2001
I thought is recipe was way too runny even after reducing some liquid. I also didn't like the texture of the tortillas after they baked. The Velveeta was really overpowering. My husband really liked it though-so maybe it's just my tastebuds thazt are off!

Blooming Onion and Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 26, 2000
This was absolutely delicious. It's just as good as the recipe says. The sauce might be too spicy for some kids, however. We served it to ours with a side of BBQ sauce and they liked it that way.

Bodacious Broccoli Salad

I can't say enough how good this recipe is. Our family loves it-my husband requested it with his birthday dinner. I halved it the first time but it goes so fast a whole recipe is hardly enough.
