Potato Chip Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2013
This was delicious! I had 6 chicken breasts, so I made 2 with regular chips, 2 with sour cream and onion chips and 2 with BBQ chips. All were fantastic and surprisingly crispy! I didn't marinate overnight.

Baked BBQ Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2012
Finally! A rib recipe where the ribs are very tender, but don't fall off the bone. I don't want to eat ribs with a knife and fork! I did use a little Dr. Pepper in the foil packet, but these were absolutely delicious! Thanks so much for the recipe!

Baked Potato Skins

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2012
These are much better than any restaurant! I use a combination of sharp cheddar and mild cheese for the filling. These are a must on football days! Thank you so much for a delicious recipe!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

The best chocolate cake anywhere. I use it often for cupcakes, along with Peanut Butter frosting. People beg me to make these!

Home-Fried Cheese Sticks

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2012
Love the idea of freezing them. It is an essential step! However, even with the seasoned bread crumbs, I felt the coating was a little bland. I may need to add some garlic powder and other spices to the breadcrumbs next time I make them. And I will make them again!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2012
These were delicious!!! I threw in about a cup of raisins. I had to cook mine closer to 12 minutes and I think I may add more cinnamon next time, but overall, they were by far the best oatmeal cookies I ever made.

Quick Chili I

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2012
Delicious chili! I didn't have cumin so I left that out. I also pureed the tomatoes as we don't like big chunks of tomato. After tasting, I thought it tasted too sweet so I added one more tablespoon of chili powder and it was just perfect. First time we ate the entire pot of chili! Thanks!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2012
Very delicious! I sauteed the garlic with the butter and then threw fettucine noodles, broccoli and cooked chicken in the pan after the sauce was done. Yum-o!

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: May 6, 2012
Delicious!! Definitely double the gravy to smother on mashed potatoes! I used red wine instead of sherry and added mushrooms with the onions. My steaks did take longer than 4 minutes on each side, but that may have been because I used a cast iron skillet. Thanks for a yummy recipe! My son asks for this all the time which is a huge compliment!

Juicy Lucy Burgers

Reviewed: May 1, 2012
Had to try making these after seeing them on Man vs. Food. Delish!!! I did add an extra piece of cheese on top, plus added GrillMates Hamburger Seasoning to the mix. Making sure they are sealed properly and poking the cheese pocket after you flip is key! Otherwise, the cheese will ooze out. I made them on the grill instead of in a pan.

Ultra Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: May 1, 2012
I have tried (unsuccessfully) to make homemade mashed potatoes for years. They usually turn out bland and lumpy. I decided to give it one more try with this recipe. YUMM-O! Super creamy! I used Yukon gold potatoes. Don't think I'll ever go back to instant! Thanks!

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: May 1, 2012
I agree with others.....you need to double the sauces. I didn't have any green pepper so left that out. I also reduced to 2 teaspoons of brown sugar. Thought this was way too ketchup-y tasting so I tried adding some Worcheshire and apple cider vinegar but it still tasted too ketchup-y and sweet. I probably should've used some BBQ sauce in place of the ketchup.

Fried Chicken with Creamy Gravy

Reviewed: May 1, 2012
We thought this was pretty tasty. My skin did start to come off a bit, but it was still good. I did like others and fried it until brown and then put it on a cooling rack over a cookie sheet and baked for 30 minutes in a 400* oven. The gravy was also good but I felt it needed some more spices.

World's Best Pasta Sauce!

Reviewed: May 1, 2012
I have made this so many times, I figure it is time i rate it! Never again will I buy jarred sauce again! I replace the water with red wine and don't use a tablespoon of salt. Sometimes I leave out the sausage ...depends if I have it on hand or not. It is great with or without! I really don't think it's all the much work. It freezes great!

Fudge Puddles

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
These are fantastic!! I didn't realize that I had bought evaporated milk instead of sweet condensed milk, so I substituted one cup of the evaporated milk and 1 1/4 cups of sugar. Simmer until sugar is dissolved and let cool. Delicious!
