The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

I love these sugar cookies and have been making them for years. I thought it was about time to rate them. Make sure you chill the dough. Sometimes I make the dough a couple of days ahead of time, especially for Santa's cookies. I have used this recipe to insert dowels and make wands before and they turned out perfectly. They are soft and not too sweet, and perfect for buttercream frosting.

Key Lime Pie VII

The recipe is too sweet and not enough sour. The pie set up nicely though. I think if I made this again I would use lime concentrate to make it.

Granny Kat's Pumpkin Roll

USE A BIGGER PAN and wax paper! I wish I would have followed the suggestions to use a larger pan and wax paper. The cake was a little thick using the 9X13 and stuck to the pan. Other than that, I liked the recipe itself, it is not too sweet. I will try the recipe again, it was VERY easy!

Pasta Salad II

I am actually on here getting the recipe again to make this for a girl at work who tried it when I brought left overs for lunch. The only think that I did differently was add tomatoes. Do not skip on the Old Bay seasoning. I had no idea what it was but found it at WalMart, it adds a perfect flavor and it was not spicy like I had thought it would be. Others mention this spice as being too much in quanity but if you read this there was a typo when the recipe was first posted on the amount. Also DO make it the night ahead, this salad gets better overnight and stays tasting perfect for at least 3 days! I also used Kraft zesty italian and was SO glad I did. I dont use this type of dressing on my salads so I didnt know what brand to go with. Their dressing is thick and chunky, unlike when I attempted to make this in the past the dressing was so oily (dont remember that brand I used). Thanks for the recipe!
