Cake Doughnuts

These were okay flavored but far too sticky. Melting the butter is a mistake and only half the milk is needed. The flavor is okay, I didnt add the cinnamon and sugar since I wanted actual cake donuts, not coated. They were pretty bland but edible with a coating.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

The pie has great taste, with added cinnamon and nutmeg, but is very runny! I even added cornstarch as suggested by another reviewer. Still runny.

The Best Fresh Tomato Salsa

Very good base recipe but I did make a couple of changes. It was too spicy so instead I removed the seeds from 3 jalapenos to keep flavor without heat then used 1 hot and 1 mild jalapeno with seeds to add in just the right amount of heat. Great spice wthout burning your mouth up! I also doubled the cumin and since I'm not a huge fan of cilantro, cut it hack to 1/8 cup. I also cooked mine on medium for 5 minutes for a good blend before putting in jars. Perfect salsa!

Caramel Nougat Bar Peanut Butter Cookies

Excellent cookies! Definitely need to use BITE size, not fun size! Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. I used Milky Way in some, baking apple caramels in others. Both excellent!

Apple Strudel Muffins

Great recipe aside from forgetting spices! I added 1 t. Cinnamon and 1/2 t. Nutmeg. I also substituted pureed pumpkin for the eggs (1/2 c. Pumpkin total) and added an extra 1/2 c. Apples. They came out great! Nice flavor and consistency. Could have been a bit sweeter, next time I will use 1/2 c. Brown sugar and 1/2 c. White sugar instead.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

I give it 4 stars because the flavor is really good. But the dough comes out entirely too wet. I had to keep adding flour when I went to knead it to roll it out. And I followed the recipe to the letter. Tried a second time adding cinnamon and came out the same way, adding more flour when going to roll. Otherwise, good recipe.
