Jimmy Dean Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
so I took reviews advice and I used tator tots instead of bread, I did half the recipe because there is aonly two of us, I added onions and green bell pepers, with maple sausage, and used cherry tomatoes. It was so runny, cooking at 350 for 45 minutes. I ended up pouring off most of the liquid, and I just put it back in for another 30 minutes on 400. I personally think, from working in a bed and breakfast, that the egg and milk mixture just is too much... Next time I make this I'll cute the milk, 5 eggs and 1/2 cup of milk. Too much liquid. Although all the ingrediants are our favorite, I can't wait to try it once it's completely set up!!! No Stars till I actually can eat it!!!

Taco Quiche

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2010
Okay so I took the advice of others, and added my own touches... I did the corn bread topping instead of the bisquick, I also added a can of corn, a can of chili beans, and a can of olives sliced up. I sprinkled the cheese ontop of the meat, and then added the corn bread, it was AMAZING... My mother, who is staying with us for a couple weeks, and I both loved it, and my DD loved it as well. I will definatley be making this for my husband when he comes back home from deployment... I also garnished with home made salsa and sour cream, soooo yummmy!!!

Eggnog Latte

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2010
I used the "Eggnog from Scratch" recipe on this sight for the Eggnog, and used more like a 1 1/2 cups of Eggnog for a more eggnog flavor. Was great, and for the espresso, I used 3 Tablespoon Dunkin Donuts reg. with 1/2 cup water to brew, very nice... Loved it...

Eggnog from Scratch

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2010
I personally loved it. I used it for an Eggnog Latte. My mom asked why it didn't taste like Starbucks, I said because they use a concentrate. This is better, although she wasn't head over heels about it, I personally find it very yummy, and will make it during the Holiday season... Oh I did not use the Rum, and I used 2 2/3 cups of Whole Milk, a little less fatty!!! Yummy...

Caramel Apple Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2010
Okay so I cooked this differently. I browned my thin chops in the pan with house seasoning, and then put them in a oven safe pan, lined with foil and brown sugar. I placed the chops on that, then cooked the apples in the pan as directed. Poured the apples over the chops, and then baked everything for 20 minutes at 375. I also sprinkled more brown sugar on top. I served with savory stuffing and mixed veggies. And als o made caramel corn for dessert!!! Great meal thanks so much...

Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2010
Okay, Just made this for dinner tonight... I used Steph's Crust Recipe, which I found a little drier, but I could have added more water, I didn't know it was my first crust attempt. I used frozen Blueberries and Rasberries, and 4 T. of corn starch... I also used a full top crust with some designs on it for venting... So we shall see... Hope it all good...

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2009
These are the best!!! I've made them several times and they are always gobbled up faster than I could bake more... I do use butter instead of Marg. I find it tastes better. And I've used dark brown sugar and it seems to make them goey-er!!! MMM
