Really yummy recipe. I had to leave out the jalapeno because I wanted to make it palatable for our kids, but the grown-ups added a spicy pickle at the table that went very well. This recipe is easy to follow and prepare, but takes a bit of time. Luckily, I had all of the ingredients available except for the ginger/garlic pastes, so I followed a recipe to make it myself, also on I think the recipe would taste wonderful with shrimp or other kinds of seafood as well as the cod. The only change that I made to the recipe was cooking the cod for only 5 minutes, instead of 15. You have to be really careful not to overcook fish or else it becomes rubbery. After 5 minutes, the fish was perfect (I had cut them in about 3/4" cubes, so maybe that's why it took so little time to cook).
