Steel-Cut Oatmeal

Reviewed: May 12, 2014
Super yummy! Even my kids liked it. I soaked the oats overnight to cut down on the cooking time in the morning. To cook, add all the ingredients bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. I then let it rest for five minutes to soak up the extra liquid. Instead of cashews, I used sliced almonds and maple syrup instead of sugar.

Rigatoni with Italian Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2014
Super quick and very tasty. I added the can of diced tomatoes to the cooked chicken so the tomatoes were heated. I also added some garlic, basil, oregano and let the tomato mixture simmer a little bit before pouring the sauce over the noodles.

Delicious! Made my own fajita mix and added some sour cream to the salsa mixture. Will be eating this meal again.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2011
Excellent taste. However, I did follow some of the reviewers tips and made 1 1/2 times more sauce than called for, but I found it to be too soupy. Next time, I will follow the recipe exactly.

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2011
This is a very rich mac n cheese. I would suggest to use it only as a side dish not the main dish. Also, 1 tsp pepper is too much. Maybe 1/2 or 3/4?

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: May 16, 2011
My family didn't really like this. I didn't realize the sauce was caramel. It was too sweet for us and made the french toast soggy.

Sensational Sirloin Kabobs

Reviewed: May 16, 2011
I loved the marinade for the kabobs, and the pineapple was delicious, but next time I will add red potatoes and I will cook the kabobs longer.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: May 16, 2011
I liked these brownies, but they weren't the best. Definitely not fudge-like. Somewhere in between cakey and fudgy. I'm going to keep looking for a brownie recipe that I like.

Sarah's Applesauce

It was yummy. However, it doesn't make much, so I would definitely at least double the recipe.

Very easy. A great Mexican side dish. I also used only 3/4 C of salsa and it was the perfect amount.

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2009
I made this for my son's first birthday and it was a hit! Super easy and super delicious. I did use a pork loin and cooked it on low for 10 hours in the slow cooker. Sweet Baby Rays was the perfect sauce for this.
