Butternut Squash Soup II

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2010
Like other reviewers I roasted the squash first. I didn't add the potatoes. I cooked the onions, celery and carrots in the melted butter. As long as you slice the celery thin, it will not be stringy. I added a clove of garlic, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, and a little nutmeg and curry powder. Delicious!!

Cinnamon Rolls I

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
These rolls were wonderful! I will definitely be making these again. I added a 1/4 cup of shortening and doubled the cinnamon topping. Also I only cooked them for about 10 mins. I did set my rolls out in the morning for about 45 mins in a warming drawer on my stove. I used two round pans for the rolls.

Creamy Hollandaise Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2009
This is a very good hollandaise recipe. I doubled the recipe and only used 2 TBsp of fresh lemon juice and 1 cup of salted butter. I did not add salt. It had excellent flavor and consistency. I will be using this again with changes.

Speedy Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
First time I made them I loved them and so did my family. This is a great recipe in a pinch. I made them a second time and forgot the whipping cream, and it makes a big difference. I made them a third time and they were so..so. I am going to make some from scratch and compare.

Chinese Noodle Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
Ok, I thought the sauce was missing something. I added several different vegetables, like cabbage and mushrooms. It was bland and needed some extra zip. I tried adding some oyster sauce, but it just didn't help that much.

Cinnamon Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2009
My family loves these waffles! They are so yummy!! They are light, fluffy, crisp and have excellent flavor. I add 1 Tbsp extra cinnamon, but follow the rest of the recipe to the tee. This is the best waffle recipe that I have found.
