I was worried to make this. My only complaint was the stirring of the cherries. After having it on low for 15min and not even feeling slightly warm I bumped it up to low/med temp and was finally done in 10 min (total 25min) of stirring. Also was unable to find pitted sour cherries but used the coctail cherries and worked just fine. Will be making it again tonight for xmas even dinner tomorrow. Hope it transports well. BUT I think I'll be adding dowels soI can transport and remove upon arrival. Also dosed each layer in Grand Marnier and was DIVINE
