So easy and clever! Not too mushy, definitely not dry, and a scoop of vanilla ice cream takes it to the next level of awesome!

Doubled the recipe and added some sun dried tomatoes. Absolutely fabulous with a little zip from the red pepper flakes.

Cheese Garlic Biscuits II

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2010
Oh my gosh! So amazing! The batter was a bit sticky but they turned out great. I added some minced garlic into the batter because I looooove garlic. I'm definitely going to make these again; )

Roasted Garlic Zucchini and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
Omitted the basil and substituted some Italian herb mix for seasoning. I added baby bellas and a bit more garlic (because I love garlic) than the recipe called for. Otherwise, this recipe worked very well with the right amount of zip coming from those red pepper flakes!

Golden Yam Brownies

These are fantastically moist and flavorful. They were easy to make and the frosting seals the deal. I followed the recipe exactly and don't really see any reason to change it:D

Filipino Avocado Milkshake

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
Easy to make and delicious. I used Splenda instead of sugar and left out the lemon juice, and it still turned out flavorful, creamy, and awesome. You can just taste a hint of avocado-it really is super delicious and different than your average milkshake;)

Bodega Bay Cioppino

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
We made this recipe for new year's eve and it turned out quite well. We followed the recipe exactly, except we added about a 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes for a little kick. We removed the crab meat from the legs before cooking for ease of eating. This definitely reminded me of the Cioppino I had in San Francisco sans the rock fish, mussels, and calamari. Next time we'll probably add mussels and some sturdy white fish. Excellent and easy recipe!
