Spinach and Pasta Shells

Good, but definitely needs some feta cheese on top. Plus, I steamed the spinach for 3 mins after the garlic (with a lid on top). That will keep the nutrients from disapearing when you drain the boiled water.

Black Bean Rice Burgers

Added chili powder and some oats. A little dry...maybe I didn't do something right. 2nd time: added saltines, more rice and lentils, since i'd blended all original ingredients. Alittle bland.

Easy Toffee Bars

yummy. I greased a sheet of foil in the pan, then put the stuff in. I also ran low on choc. chips, so I put mini marshmallows with half a bag and then could spread it all over just fine.

Skillet Ham, Cabbage and Potatoes

Definitely one of the better ways to eat cabbage! I put a frozen gruyere stuffed sausage in to sautee with the onion and left it in until the end...that provided a yummier flavor than the ham would've (which I left out). at the end, I cut up the sausage and added a touch of red pepper. I would suggest checking after 20 minutes though, because mine ran out of water ad scourched the bottom of the pan a little. My husband really enjoyed it, though he tends to nit like cabbage much.

Easy Chickpea Curry

Super yummy! The paprika and sugar are a joke...unecessary (as well as tumeric). Coconut milk is sweet enough in this...in fact I had to add more ketchup (instead of tomato sauce) and more curry and garam masala. I also sauteed the potatoes with the seaonings step to coat them, before putting in liquids. I don't know if that helped or not...

Balsamic Roasted Pork Loin

I just used the same inredients in a small portion on my pork chop and baked it in my toaster oven on 350 for about 15 minutes or so. Pretty good with the parmesan rosemary polenta recipe from this site.

Polenta with Rosemary and Parmesan

Pretty good I guess. I halved the rosemary, which flavor makes it good with a meat side dish (I had it with the balsamic pork recipe from this site). I can see this good with lots of other side dishes if you just switch the seasoning accordingly.
