Chocolate Bar Fondue

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
This is a great recipe! I cut everything in half, and omitted the coffee powder, white sugar, and hot water. We put the chocolate (I used semi-sweet as that is what I had), cream, and vanilla in the fondue pot, and stirred until everything was combined. It was sweet enough, and was a pretty good consistency. Could have been a little thicker, so if you like it thicker than reduce the cream. Made plenty of chocolate for dipping! We enjoyed dipping marshmallows, strawberries, banana slices, and peanut butter balls. My son really enjoyed this!

Cranberry Eggnog Cornbread Scones

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
The best scone recipe I've tried! In my dry climate I had to add about another 1/8 tbsp of egg nog to the dough because it was so dry. I'm definitely going to save this one for Christmas!

Homestyle Potato Chips

Easy and yummy! Some of our potatoes were not sliced as thin as they "should" have been, but they were still yummy.

Tuna Lasagna Casserole

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
I think this recipe has potential and I like that it doesn't use a can of soup! I made it per the recipe, and I agree with one other reviewer who said that the sauce should be doubled. My suggestions are: - Double the sauce recipe - Put sauce on the pan, then add on top of the tuna mixture for each layer. - If you are feeling like more cheese, add mozzarella cheese with the layers, and add more cheese on top. - I prefer peas and corn for the vegetables, and I usually have those frozen. - Bake covered for 35 minutes. Don't broil (it seems unnecessary in my opinion, and is more to worry about).

Overnight Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
This is an easy, tasty coffee cake. Nice for when guests are in town, or for holidays. Also, I never sift anything, and the coffee cake still turns out OK.

Pumpkin Chocolate Dessert Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2009
Very moist & delicious. I did not sift the confectioners sugar. Just whisk it and the clumps go away. I had to bake my cake about 10 min longer than the suggested time. I'm also at a high elevation & didn't modify anything. Great recipe & everyone loved it!
