Cabbage Roll Casserole
Just delicious. I followed the suggestions from a reviewer named "cyndib" and made in a BIG pot, draining fat before adding cabbage etc., and I also added some garlic, cilantro, and the tiniest bit of paprika because that's what I use for my traditional cabbage rolls. It was fabulous - or is. I just finished making it, and I think next time I will plan to freeze half in some microwavable containers.

Baked Kale Chips
The trick is not being tempted to use more oil; I pour oil and mix the kale in a bowl with my hands before spreading on the baking sheet. I don't use the parchment but have a nonstick sheet. Every week I try a different seasoning, but like Old Bay the best. We make these every Saturday while preparing dinner so we have our "popcorn replacement" for movie night later.

Marilyn's Green Beans Italiano
This is a super easy way to jazz up green beans. I used it when we had so many beans in season that we needed variety. It looks so beautiful in the dish; I tucked julienne red bell pepper all around the border of the dish. It'll be my new Christmas bean dish, a lot lighter than the mushroom soup etc. One thing to be careful about is that you really want keep proportions right. One time I made it, the bread crumb/parmesan was overwhelming - also delicious but not what I had in mind.
