Lemon Chicken Soup II

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
Wow! I was surprised how good his easy soup was! It will certainly become a staple. I even cooked it for friends who loved it and had no trouble with soggy rice or spinach despite cooking it ahead of time.

Sweet Potato, Carrot, Apple, and Red Lentil Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
This was very yummy for the whole family. My only complaint was that it came out way too thick. I would add more vegetable broth next time.

Sweet Potato Casserole IV

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
This has become a family tradition. I get requests from all of my relatives to make this at Christmas and Thanksgiving annually. It's very sweet, but a few times a year that is ok!

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2012
This was okay. One thing that I would change would be to flip the pork midway through. I wasn't crazy about this dish. The packaged gravy gave it a processed taste.

Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2013
Finally a turkey burger recipe my whole family liked! I followed the recipe except I added a few more bread crumbs and an egg yolk to help keep it together. One thing that made it successful for me was that I used a food processor to blend the parsley, onion and garlic. This kept my son from noticing that there were actual onions in it.

Classic Bisquick™ Peach Cobbler

The kids didn't like the nutmeg in the batter. Next time I will gut the nutmeg in half or try cinamon.

Wine-Braised Beef Brisket

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2014
This was very simple and good. I didn't have tomato sauce so I used a can of diced tomatoes and it was delicious. I too was afraid that 350 would be too hot for the meat but it was perfect.
