Colonial Brown Bread

Thank you for this recipe! We love it and it is so versitile! I never know what flavor I will end up with. I have tried it with 1 c each of wheat, dark rye and white flours. One of our favorites is with raisans and cinnamin.

Scotch Shortbread Cookies

I changed it a bit by 3 cups white flour and 1 cup wheat flour. I also used 1-1 sugar substitute and flattened balls to make 1/4 inch thick cookies. Bakes 325 for 35 minutes. Delicious!!

Janet's Rich Banana Bread

I have been making banana bread for 45 years and although good, was dense. I must say KUDOS for this recipe. There will never be another banana bread recipe in this house. It is so light and fluffy! Thank you for sharing! The ONLY change I made was I used room temperature butter and creamed it with the sugar. A+ TOP NOTCH RECIPE!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

I just made these because my husband wanted oatmeal raisin cookies. First words out of his mouth " these are the best you have ever made! Save that recipe. Your searching is over!! Thank you so much. Only change I made was to put in half a cup extra raisins. That was only because we are huge raisin fans!
