My Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2014
I have been making this recipe for 3 or 4 years now. It's very good but I would give it a 4 star as listed. I have added a few things to make it better and a 5 star!! 1 tsp. cumin, 2 tsp. ground black pepper, 5 tbsps. minced garlic and I use 4 total cans of beans, I use 1 black, and mix up light and dark kidney beans for the rest. I also add 4-6 chopped fresh peppers (red, yellow, orange, green, etc.)I'm in the process of making it today and the house smells delicious. After I finish it I throw it in a large crock pot and keep on low until ready to eat. Delicious!!!

Slow Cooker Spicy Chicken

Delicious. I put it over rice and didn't use chili powder due to small kids and wife that doesn't like spice. I added fresh oregano, rosemary, and basil. Also added a couple peppers red and green from the garden just chopped up. Kids enhaled this!!! Will be made again.

Cube Steak Parmesan

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
This was very good. I have tried several different recipes for cube steak and this was by far the best. We are cheese lovers so we used 2 cups of cheese instead of 4 slices. We also added spaghetti sauce since the recipe didn't call for enough tomato sauce. But this is a very good recipe!!!!

Deep-Fried Turkey Marinade

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2013
AWESOME Flavor but I will say I was a little scared of the ingredients because most of my family doesn't like heat. I did use 1/4 cup of cayenne pepper instead of 1/2 but there was no spice when it was done. I will do the recipe as pictured next year and I'm thinking about adding a stick of butter to the mix to see how that goes. This was my 7th yr frying a turkey for Thanksgiving and I usually had bought the butter creole marinade at Wal-Mart but they didn't have it in my area this year and they won't have to worry about me buying it anymore. My whole family raved over this turkey. And I was really surprised how the marinade tasted throughout the whole turkey not just the skin. EXCELLENT RECIPE, don't be afraid...

I give it 6 stars!! We followed most of the reviews and did 1/2 water, doubled the toppings and added nutmeg. It was delicious. Not sure what type of apples we used but they were very soft when we used them and they were still good and not too mushy. DELICIOUS!!!

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2011
Prefer these over regular pancakes. Both my children loved them too. I used 1 can of puree instead of 1 cup. Didn't want 1/2 jar to go to waste. They were delicious. I have made them several times this fall. For our family it makes enough for 2 breakfasts.

Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2010
Wow, this was delicious!!! I would give it 6 stars if i could. Very blueberry and very moist. Loved the topping on top. I made it a couple weeks ago and my husband requested it again tonight. We went to local blueberry farm to get fresh blueberries so i'm sure that helped.

Buckeyes I

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
this is a great recipe. The hardest part is melting the chocolate and not letting it get gritty. But the end results are delicious. I have been told that i should sell them!! I always double the recipe and they never last. Another thing that makes them even better is use Milk Chocolate instead of semi, EVEN BETTER!!!
