Curried Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
I was surprised at how many people gave this such a good rating. I found the recipe very bland. I would make it again but add twice as much curry powder and add more spices like ginger and garlic and add potato. I wouldn't even put in the apple I couldn't even taste it. If you make this you will definitely need to supplement the ingredients

Cranberry, Sausage and Apple Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
This was my first year making stuffing and I wanted to do something with lots of flavour. I loved this recipe. It was easy to follow and the proportions were perfect, well almost. I ended up using probably a cup more chicken stock than what the recipe called for. I would definitely make this recipe again, I can't wait until next year!

Laurie's Shepherd's Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
I've made shepherd's pie many times and never with a pie shell. I won't be doing that again. If you are going to use this recipe don't use the pie shell. Tastes much better without it.

Salmon Patties I

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2010
Perfect. Loved this simple and fast recipe. Healthy and delicious. I doubled the recipe and had plenty for leftovers. The only thing I added was dill. Will definitely make this again.

Stuffed Peppers with Turkey and Vegetables

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
Loved it. Followed the recipe and didn't make any substitutions. The only thing I would add is a bit more tomotoes to make it saucier. A great healthy and filling dish.

Apple Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
Will defintely make this again. The only thing I changed was the cooking time. Baked covered for 30 minutes and uncovered for 15 minutes. The pork chops were perfect. Any longer and they would have been too dry. Was a hit in my household.

Easiest Pot Roast Ever

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2010
This was my first time using my crock pot and I can't wait to use it again. This turned out great. I'm not sure what some reviewers are saying about being bland. I found this delicious. I added small garlic powder but that's it. And I agree with another reviewer, you add spice based on the tastes and flavours that your family likes. That's what's great about this recipe. So easy and you can add or subtract whatever you like. You can't really go wrong. The gravy I made from this was delicious. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
Deeeeeelicious! I wouldn't change a thing about these cookies. Brought them into work and they were gobbled up. The first batch I made I put them too close together on the sheet and they touched so they were sort of flatter. Learned my lesson on the second batch and left a bit more room. They were truly perfection. People couldn't believe that they were homemade. They just looked too perfect. I'm not much of a baker either. I was so proud when they came out so well. A definite keeper!!
