The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies
I thought I used this recipe last year and they were just fine but I used this recipe today and was very disappointed - the cookies were pale and puffy, they were too soft to work with after an hour in the fridge and even after I chilled them longer they got soft and sticky after just a few minutes out on the counter. They worked ok for simple large shapes like bells but were not good for more intricate shapes like Christmas trees, they were just a ragged mess

Fiesta Turkey Tavern
I played around with this a bit since my kids don't care for jalapeno. I used 2 lbs turkey, same on the onion and garlic, , then filled the bottom of the pan with white cooking wine and added larger amounts of mustard, salt and pepper and then cooked it down until the liquid was mostly gone. I put it on a whole wheat hamburger bun with swiss cheese and it was great - my kids drowned it in ketchup but they still ate it! We actually fed 4 of us for 2 nights and had some left over.

Mexican Pasta
As I put this all together, it just looked like salsa poured over pasta, and I thought it would be bad, but the taste of the beans and corn mix nicely with pasta (I used whole wheat). Nothing I would serve to company but something cheap and nutritious for the family
