Cranberry Sauce

I have NEVER liked cranberry sauce, that ridged blob of gel plopped from a can. But I love cranberries. Once I tried this recipe...well now I love cranberry sauce, and it is SO SIMPLE to assemble. Lovely

Spaghetti Squash I

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
A very healthy alternative, but with the versatility, of pasta. I baked my squash with a splash of olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and italian seasoning. I place water in the baking dish as noted by another reviewer; the end results were scrumptious. Thanks for the recipe.

Red Velvet Cupcakes

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2010
I give this recipe a 5 due to the recommendations of the Baby-Bow-Lady (BBL). OMG!!!! AWESOME!!! OUT OF THIS WORLD!! FANTASTIC. I am so proud of ME...and my family just absolutely fell in LOVE with the cakes that I made. BBL, I your suggestions for the batter and it was phenomenal ( I did double the vanilla as you suggested..but it was by accident or divine intervention). For the frosting I used 2 packages of cream cheese and 1 stick of unsalted butter, 2 tsp of pure vanilla extract, and confectioners sugar to taste. Once I blended those ingredients WELL I folded in a 1/2 container of french vanilla cool whip and placed the frosting in the fridge until I was ready to frost the mini cakes I made. I am usually the "QUEEN of SEMI-HOMEMADE", but I actually made this phenomenal cake from "SCRATCH" with all of the GREAT advice you all provided. Thanks for being great team players and making me feel awesome during my post-op recovery period.....yes I was eating cake at 11:00pm. I'll be back in the gym soon, but until then I'll dive head first into another slice of cake. :-)

I absolutely love the basic tenant of this recipie. I did omit the raisins and used biscuits that were left over from another meal. My family, who had never had bread pudding, fell in love with this dish.....p.s. this was my first attempt at making bread pudding!!!!! A hit and will make again.

Smothered Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2005
This is a traditional southern dish that I grew up on in South Carolina. We always pan-fried the chops first, then removed them from the oil once they were brown. We then added the onions until they were carmelized threw the chops back in the pan and added the richness of a can of Cream of Mushroom Soup. Talk about intense flavor. Served over a bed of hot rice it is heavenly. Enjoy!!!

Banana Rum Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2003
This recipie is very moist and delicious. My family and co-workers absolutely LOVE it. I did modify the frosting in which I used a cream cheese frosting with powder sugar, I then added some cool whip and rum to lighten the frosting. I have made this for several occassions and it is always A HIT!!

This recipe is quick, easy, and the children enjoy assisting. I make peanut butter balls with mine and utilize chocolate (candy coating) to dip the peanut butter balls in and it is absolutely outstanding. Thanks for the recipe, it has become a holiday tradition in my home.

Southern Banana Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2001
My family members, which are die hard southerners who enjoy food prepared the old-fashioned way absolutely LOVED this lighter, fluffier version of the traditional Banana Pudding. I enjoy making this version for those who come to my home to enjoy a truly southern meal. They leave satisfied and full of smiles!
