About this Cook
I love to cook new things for my family and I'm famous for making something great out of nothing when we find ourselves in a penny pinching time of the month. I learned to cook from my grandma who never used a recipe and always made the BEST bread from scratch.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite recipe is from this site, the "Chocolate Cakes with Liquid Centers" it's the most impressive dessert and SO very simple. I add raspberry preserves to the center before baking and top it off with homemade whipped cream and it's a hit every time without fail!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Cookies!

Anna's Chocolate Chip Cookies
These are awesome! But the dough is much thinner than other CCC recipes. I almost added more flour but decided not to and I'm glad I didn't. They are moist and chewy! The thinner batter makes for a thin cookie, but if you refregerate the dough for a couple of hours, the cookies come out a little less flat. I followed the advice of some others and used 1/2 tsp of salt since I was already using salted butter. Thanks for the recipe!

Steak Tip Marinade
This is fantastic, I double it and it's always a hit at every bbq - people rave about my "secret recipe"! I add some red pepper flakes to mine for a little extra heat.

Simple and delicious. I used and extra cup of water and an extra bouillon cube (we like a little extra gravy). Substituted fresh rosemary and omitted the celery.
