About this Cook
I love cooking things that are quick and easy.. I work full time, attend school full time and have a toddler, so my life is very hectic! :)
My favorite things to cook
Cupcakes, cookies, and cakes
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mom's red velvet frosting, and my family sage stuffing
My cooking tragedies
I ALWAYS burn no-bake cookies... and they don't even require baking! :/

Creamy Chocolate Frosting
I actually just realized that I used sweetened condensed milk instead of evap milk (duh)... Lol, even still, it was very tasty, but I did have to add milk to thin it out (I'll blame the sweetened cond milk for the thickness). Next time I will try it with the correct ingredients!

Whole Wheat Blueberry Muffins
I was really excited to find a 5 star whole wheat muffin recipe. I made the recipe exactly as stated except I used coconut oil in place of veg oil (which I always do). My muffins were very thick and didn't rise very well. The taste is ok if you're craving something slightly sweet but don't want to eat junk. Overall I won't make this recipe again, sorry :(

Tex-Mex Turkey Soup
This soup is a great way to use up left over turkey! The flavor is nice and mild, even my extremely picky 3 yr old ate it. I followed the recipe exactly as written, very good.
