Big Eating Guys
About this Cook
Big Saturday breakfasts are a big tradition at our house. With 3 guys in the house (at times), sometimes there are 3 different breakfasts, but since it's Saturday morning, that's OK.

Peanut Butter Balls V
Oh my! These were such a hit at our office potluck. I made the recipe as listed, using only 2 cups of the graham cracker crumbs, but it was still just a bit too "dry" to form ball. I just added another 1/4 cup of butter. If you're making this in the first place, the chances are calorie trimming is not the goal. That did the trick, and the balls were doable. It is absolutely imperative to chill the peanut butter balls before dipping them as they will fall apart. Once they're dipped, the cooler temperature helps the chocolate "set" more quickly. Using the small bit of wax really makes the coating shine. The big test: They were delicious!!!! Everyone loved them! Think I'll have one now.

Country Apple Dumplings
This is absolutely amazing!!! Even my picky husband who will not touch fruit loved this so much he called us the new "Apple Dumpling Gang". A friend of mine gave this to me; she is a dietician so she gave it as listed in the diabetic version, and it was still scrumptious!!! This is the easiest dessert you'll make, especially for the flavor factor - it is scrumptidillyicious!!!!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread
This stuff is incredible. I haven't made pumpkin bread in years, as my late mother-in-laws' couldn't be beat, and I lost her recipe. This bread is absolutely delicious: moist; flavorful; and full-bodied. I made it as listed, but can see how a less dense bread may be made with 1/2 C. applesauce/1/2 C oil. It is absolutely delicious. Thanks for the great recipe. Will become a family tradition!
