Terri's Veal Marsala

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2006
This was a quick, easy and tasty meal. I used chicken breasts instead of veal and made a little more sauce to make sure that I had enough. I also added minced shallots and garlic. The recipe also doubles very well!

Great Grandma's Pork and Sauerkraut

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2004
This is a keeper...made mock mashed potatoes (cauliflower) and mixed it all together on the dinner plate. Great for low carb.

Great tasting and very easy to make! The only thing that I changed was that I used Halibut instead of Cod.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2001
I doubled the soup mixture. It tasted great. The pork chops (boneless) were tender enough that you don't need a knife to cut them! The sauce was excellent, too!

Cream of Spinach Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2001
You may want to thicken the soup a little more with extra flour or starch. I also added some garlic powder, because we like to use garlic whenever we can. The soup was very good - great to take to lunch, too!

Angel Hair Pasta Chicken

I cut down the pasta to 8 oz, added 2 more carrots, and doubled the garlic (we love garlic). Otherwise the recipe was easy and very tasty.

Proper English Cottage Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2001
Great dish! A good Fall dinner. I did add some garlic and Lee & Perrins, though. I substituted ketchup for tomato paste because I did not have a can of paste already open. Also, I substituted instant mashed potatoes to save time. I used the 6-7 serving amounts on the box.

Arroz con Pollo II

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2001
The end result of this recipe was a great tasting meal. However, I had to add 1 1/2 cups of water to the dish because the rice did not cook at all just using the ingredients listed. After adding the additional water, I extended the cooking time by 15 mins., with the pan covered, and it cooked the rice. In the future, I will add the water and cook just as I would any rice dish, covered and for about 20 mins. on low.

The glaze was easy to make and it tasted great! I used a George Foreman grill to cook the pork chops instead of the oven. Great taste!

Beef Barley Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2001
I added 1 can of new potatoes(bite size)and 1/2 cup cooking wine. I also seasoned with tyme, basil, oregano, and Lea & Perrins. The original recipe was a 5 star tasting recipe that was made even better with these additions.
