Easy Creamy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2010
I browned the tenderloin with garlic powder, paprika, and ground pepper rubbed on it, then added it to the crockpot with a can of cream of celery and a can of cream of onion. (in addition to covering the meat, I made sure I had covered the bottom of the crock with the soup, that way it is surrounded) sliced fresh carrots added 1 hour before serving. Will definately make this again, easy and tasty. Having the yummy leftovers tonight!

Roasted Curried Chicken with Couscous

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
The flavors were great, but I must have used too small of a chicken, because I had gobs and gobs of rub left even after coating everything well. I let it marinate for the afternoon before cooking, and it smelled specatcular while in the oven. I made a chicken salad with the left overs the next day, and it was absolutely fantastic. I may cook chicken like this specifically for the purpose of making chicken salad the next day. My husband raved about it!

Dutch Apple Dessert

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2010
This came out okay--not great. While it was warm, I served it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and the starving bachelor I fed it to was very appreciative. Once it cooled though, it was yucky when reheated...

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
OK, I didn't have chicken; so I used some boneless pork chops. And I didn't have Italian dressing mix, so I used Lipton's beefy onion soup mix. I tossed the cubed meat in a ziploc with the soup mix, and put it in the crockpot with a few pats of butter, and went to Walmart. When I got home, the house smelled fantastic, and I used half of the called for cream cheese and about half a cup of sour cream, while that was warming I made a tossed salad; cooked noodles, and browned a loaf of French bread. Both myself and my husband loved this recipe--I will most certainly be making this again! It was a simple tasty meal that was perfect for todays cold New Years Day weather.
