Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2013
This IS the best marinade in existence!!! My husband who does not like steak agreed that if I made porkchops tomorrow night, he would try the steak tonight. His eyes lite up and he had to agree that it was pretty terrific. This is "dinner guest" good. Thanks

Super Seven Spinach Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2012
I served this to my husband last night, with our grilled salmon. He thought it was delicious. I read the ingredient list quickly, but didn't write it down and thought it had a pear in it....When I reviewed the recipe, I realized my mistake, but thought what the heck...I added it too. I thought it added something! great recipe. Thanks

Cherry Cheese Pie I

Reviewed: May 11, 2012
thank you, thank you for this recipe. I made this way back in the 60's but made it w/ dream whip and cream cheese. My son LOVES anything cherry and I have wanted to make this again for him, but didn't think that they even made dream whip anymore. I have thinking of subing w/ cool whip, but just haven't tried it. This has given me courage! I'm sure it will be wonderful. Again thank you.

Famous Meatballs

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2012
I use this same recipe(minus the lemon juice for my sweet and sour sauce, but pour it over meatballs that I make that have a small amt of ginger in them to give a unique taste. I have had the same results, in Dec when we are invited to many parties where we are to take dishes, my husband and I make hundreds of meatballs and freeze them. Then we just bake the amt we need, put them in the crock pot w/ the sauce and we're good to go. The crock pot is practically licked clean!!!Thanks for your eaiser version

Mile-High Peanut Butter-Brownie Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2011
this was certainly an easy dessert, very pretty in presentation. I gave it to a friend who was ill and she liked it very much, but I would recommend very small pieces, because it is VERY sweet.

Master Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
this dough was like magic. When I made the dough, I held out 1/2 cup of flour for kneading and thought "boy, I'm going to need more flour",however this dough was so beautiful and I used every grain of the flour, but that was all I needed. It was so beautiful to work with and I have been making pizza for 40 years. Don't hesitate to use this. Roll your dough very thin because it will rise and be "too doughy".

Spooky Witches' Fingers

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
I hate to give a low rating for someone who took the time to share...and what a great idea. The only thing was that the recipe was a total failure for me....too messy, too tedious, and really not a good flavor. I was so disappointed. I'm sorry for being so truthful...again, a great idea!

Crusty French Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2011
I have been making this bread for 40 years, w/ the exception of the oil, making this fat free :0). For those who wished for a crunchier crust, after brushing w/ egg white(beaten w/ a tablespoon of water),sprinkle on some seeds, white or black sesame seeds poppy seeds, flax seeds, makes "everything" bread. Place a baking pan (9x13) in the bottom of the preheating oven, then pour boiling water into it, creating steam. After 20 minutes of baking time, brush the bread(lightly) w/ cool water every 10 minutes of remaing baking time. It will make a nice crust. Have fun, bread making is so theraputic.

Parker's Famous Margaritas

Reviewed: May 10, 2011
I followed the recipe exactly so that I can honestly rate it. I think that it is awful when people change things and then say they didn't like it or even worse when they just read the ingredients and base that for rating. How unfair is that???So, here goes my honest critique: I thought the drink was a little too strong and not sweet enough, also, a lot of work. I think I will stick to my margarita mix and just play a little w/ that. Thanks for the recipe, though...just not that crazy about it.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
this is an easy, delicious soup, nice meal for a cold winter night. The only thing that I changed, I cooked the potatoes in chicken broth, rather than boullin, and I added celery salt. love celery salt w/ creamy soups, when appropriate.

I had a dinner party last night and served this as dessert. I made it with a brownie mix, as someone suggested. Everyone raved, one man even asked for the recipe! Truly a winner. Thanks Renee for the recipe.
