I really liked this recipe. I made 120 cookies as favours for a baby shower. I give this recipe 4 out 5 because of the modifications needed. I reserve 5 out of 5 for when the recipe is perfect as written. I followed the advice of the previous posters and made these modifications:
add 1 cup icing sugar to flour before adding flour to liquid
1 tbsp vanilla
5-6 min at 375
increase another 1/2 c flour
roll out on powdered sugar
With these changes and leaving the dough in the fridge overnight it was easy to roll out on parchment paper. I also baked them on parchment paper. I decorated with royal icing using the Wilton recipe.
