Soft Garlic Breadsticks

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2010
GREAT recipe! I didn't use a bread maker, just my stand mixer. I also didn't read the directions close enough and let it rise twice. Once in an oiled bowl and then once in breadstick form. My mistake didn't hurt a thing and probably made them even more tender. I also omitted the herbs so as not to distract from the main dish. I agree with some reviewers that the garlic taste was a little lacking. I use quality McCormick spices and it still was a little low. They smelled GREAT, but I think 1/2 tsp more would have been perfect. This is definitely getting written on a recipe card for my box. Thank you!

Margaritas

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2012
These were wonderful! A little strong for our taste, as written, so when we made a second batch we put 2 oz. less tequila and it was great. Floated a shot of Blue Curacao on top - amazing! :)

The Best Caramel Apples

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2012
I was very impressed with this recipe! The consistency was wonderful and coated the apples beautifully. I also made sure to twirl the apples on the bottom of the pot (held at an angle) to remove any excess caramel. As written, it made enough to coat 12 medium apples and have enough left over to fill a small jelly jar (For spoon-fulls later ;) I get frustrated when searching for recipes only to find them calling for melting caramel candies. I rarely try recipes that have so few reviews, but this was definitely worth the try! Thank you for the great recipe!

French Baguettes

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2012
This is a GREAT recipe. I used it to make sub sandwiches and it was perfect. Great tasting, nice, chewy texture. Not too "bready"... just a light soft bread. No need for a bread machine. People who state it was sticky dough, are probably using a very wet flour. All flours have different moisture contents, and, unless you are weighing them you are going to need a little more or a little less.
