Garlic Shrimp Linguine

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
Very easy and sooooo tastey. I read other reviews and tripled the recipe for the sauce as suggested. I was glad I did because there would not have been enough as the pasta seems to absorb alot of the juice. It was very good. Will definitely make again. The fresh parsley really made the dish!

Cheddar Penne with Sausage and Peppers

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2010
It wasnt too bad. I threw in some browned chikcen as well as the sausage. My family wasnt wild about the sausage. They pushed it aside but really liked the chicken. The cheesey sauce was really good. I will make again and just use chicken cut into bit sized cubes.

Garlic Basil Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
These are great! The basil really gives it a different flavor. I would never have thought to add it. I doubled the recipe and therefore doubled the all ingredients. I think the basil was a bit strong doubled so I will adjust to a little less basil next time. I also added a tad of light cream to fluff and lighten the potatoes. Will definitely do these again!!!

Great Pumpkin Dessert

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
Wow was this good!! Yes, the bottom is moist ( I wouldn't say "mushy") and the topping is so tastey. I added cinnamon and vanilla to the pumpkin mixture for a bit more sweetness. A nice combination of pie and cake! Who would have thought?

Boneless Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
AWESOME!! Puts Applebee's to shame! I used chicken breasts and sliced into one inch strips. The batter was awesome. I kicked it up with a little extra cayenne. My family devoured these! I think these would be great for football Sunday except I would probably cut the chicken into bite-size cubes and serve with toothpicks in them. Used Fat free Chunky Bleu Cheese dressing. You couldn't taste the missing fat!! Thanks for a great, easy recipe!

Chicken and Broccoli Braid

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2010
It smells so good and looks beautiful when served. I cut it into 1 inch slices and people grabbed them up!! Be sure to paint egg white over entire pastry to give it a golden brown color.

Good tasting pasta dish especially if you are tired of red sauce. I added shrimp, cut the chicken stock in half and added 1/3 cup of white wine. Delicioso!!

I have only ordered this dish when dining out. It tasted like I was at a restaraunt! My family loved it and it went very well with rice ( I add chicken boullion cube to rice water.) The house smelled wondeerfully like a lemon tree. Awesome dish :)

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
I used a 6 lb roast and cooked it on low for 7 hrs. It was dry but very tender and the gravy made the meat moist once it was poured over the cut slices. At the start, I added two beef boullion cubes and some garlic powder to the soup mix. The meat really did have a great flavor. Will adjust my cooking time on the next go!

Pork Chops and Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2010
To give the potatoes a bit more jazz, I used a jar of Tostito's Queso (medium) instead of plain cheddar. It gave the whole dish a kick! The pork was very tender and a nice compliment to the potatoes and onions.

Peanut Blossoms II

These cookies are very good! The cookie part is not overly hard. I used soft center KISSES which make the cookie much easier to bite into without the hard KISS in the middle.

Cream Cheese Finger Cookies

They were very flour-y. Perhaps a bit more butter or cream cheese is needed.
