Tex-Mex Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
wonderful!! we were looking for a way to use up all the left over turkey from Thanksgiving and this caught our eyes. We didn't have a can of diced tomatoes so we just omitted those and used tomato paste because we didn't have tomato soup. the smell from the kitchen is awesome and we can't wait to dive in, however I've been sampling some bites here and there. this is very good considering I hate soup!! mmmm delicious!

10 Minute Zesty Salsa

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
we thought this was wonderful. not your regular store bought but who really wants all of those extra things they put in that are bad for you!?! the only thing we did different is put it in the food processor with a couple short/quick spins. we did this because i'm not a big vegie lover, especially in chunks. so if you don't like chunky salsa just give it a quick whirl a couple times and it's perfect!! taste even better when you pull it out of the fridge the next day and let all the flavors meld together!! thanks!!

Mini Cheesecakes I

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
going to be honest. i didn't have any graham crackers or vanilla wafers so i cheated because we did have a graham cracker crust. i 1/2ed the recipe and put it in the crust and made it with strawberries on top. turned out so yummy and fabulous. it's really a quick way to make it without having to watch it rise and hope it doesn't fall stuff for the real cheesecake. my husband is obsessed with cheesecake and he ate most of the pie. very fast and very delicious. thanks!!!

Italian Dressing Mix

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
it was pretty tasty. not what i was expecting but pretty good. the only thing i noticed was i went off a review below and used olive oil because we didn't have canola oil. if you use olive oil i think you should add a bit more vinegar or else it's too oily tasting. but otherwise a nice addition to our condiments :)

Tortellini Bites

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
my husband and kids gobbled this up quickly and quietly! the only sounds i heard were mmMMmm's. It's really a simple thing but they loved it! we used it as a side instead of an appetizer. Fabulous!

Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2010
after reading all the reviews i decided to not switch things but make it more for my family. we are trying to eat healthier now so we did not coat and fry the chicken. we just cooked the chicken in the pan and then cubed it up. because ham is a natura water "holder" i quickly cooked the ham in a pan first to drain most of the water out of it. i used low sodium cream of chicken soup. i put 1/2 cup of milk with the soup instead of 1 cup. i put 1/2 cup cheese in the mix and 1/2 cup on top. then coverd with a small amount of breadcrumbs. the casserole was not runny at all and tasted very good! the only complaint i have it that this recipe says for 8 people. i have a family of 4. my husband and daughter eat quite a bit and this casserole only covered the 4 of us. depending on what you call a serving size, i would double up on the ingredients if you have more than 4 people in your family. thanks to everyone who put in suggestions!!
