Miss Lyndsey!
About this Cook
I currently work full-time and I'm also working towards my Bachelor's degree in Business. Cooking has always been an escape for me, I love being creative and writing my own recipes and trying new ones. I have no formal training, but I like to believe I'm a fairly good cook, certainly better than average ;)
My favorite things to cook
Anything and everything, seriously.
My favorite family cooking traditions
No traditions in particular, but I'm finding out more about my Grandmother's cooking traditions, which are very old-fashioned, classy, and just wonderful. I love it!
My cooking triumphs
Every time I get the privilege to cook for friends and family is a triumph for me. I love cooking for others, especially when they like it!
My cooking tragedies
I'm sure I've burnt a few things here or there, but who hasn't, right?!

Sweet Restaurant Slaw
Great slaw recipe! The only thing is I use a tad less sugar, but other than that everything stays the same. Goes great with my pulled pork sandwiches. I know coleslaw is pretty simple, but this one definitely does not disappoint.

Campbell's(R) Green Bean Casserole
I don't know why I love this stuff so much, I just do! Wouldn't feel like a holiday without it.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
This is by far one of the best pulled pork recipes I've ever tried. I followed the recipe exactly as written, cooked my pork approximately 6 hours and it turned out so tender and moist. I used Jack Daniel's honey smokehouse barbecue sauce which really complimented the pork. My family couldn't stop eating this and I've been requested to make this many more times in the future, and I'm sure I will!
