The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2009
I've always had a problem with baking sugar cookies. I could never get them quite right, but when I tried this recipe...it was amazing! The cookies were extremely moist and delicious! I only wish that cookies were healthy and nutritious because I couldn't stop eating them!

Peppermint Meringues

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2009
Wonderful cookie recipe! Low on calories and just the right amount of sweetness. I used green and red food coloring and swirled the colors. Don't mix the colors, you want a swirled look and you still want to see the white (kinda like a candy cane). They looked amazing!

This recipe is really good, but it doesn't taste like Eggnog. It tastes like rice pudding.

Sweet Potatoes 'n' Pears

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2009
Really good! The pears are a nice touch! It is extremely smooth and creamy. It almost needs something crunchy to add to the texture.

French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
Really good! It would be better if you mixed all the ingredients together and then add it to the pan. I doubled the cinnamon.

Amazing! Absolutely Amazing! I made mine exactly like the recipe except for the way I fried it. I made it more like funnel cakes. So much fun! And the hubby loved it!

I loved this recipe! I'm not a huge fan of Tofu, but it really soaked in the flavor of the sauce. I will definitely make this again!

Buttermilk Pancakes II

I loved this recipe! I cut the recipe down because I was only cooking for 2, but I ended up cooking another batch! They are so good! I couldn't stop eating them! You can add chocolate chips and make it even better!

Mom's Best Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2010
Really Good! I love the flavor of the butter and peanuts. I didn't have a candy thermometer (guess I should go out and finally buy one) so I used the bowl of ice water method. I didn't cook it long enough, but it gave it a really good crunchy first couple of bites and then it melts into this gooey caramel. I almost prefer this to the crunchy counterpart. All in all, this recipe is a keeper!

Creamy Hollandaise Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2010
This Hollandaise Sauce was really easy to make. I think there was too much lemon juice. It was way too tangy for my liking, but it was still really good. I made artichokes to dip into the sauce, while my husband smoked some TBones! The steaks were also really good when you dipped them into the Hollandaise Sauce.

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
Amazing! I don't even like Sloppy Joes, but for some reason I just had a craving for it! I didn't have any green peppers so I substituted green chilies and I made my own ketchup (1 cup tomato sauce, 1/2 cup sugar, and 2 Tbsp vinegar) because I was out of that too! These were absolutely the best Sloppy Joes I've ever had!

Kale, Swiss Chard, Chicken, and Feta Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2011
This salad is amazing! I didn't have any swiss chard so I substituted a herb mix. I kept the same amount of vinegar as what the recipe asked for, but I used Light Corn Syrup instead of honey (didn't have any and it added more sweetness to cut the vinegar). Really good! Definitely a keeper!
