Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2013
I made this recipe with some changes/additions. Used garlic with the beef as mentioned, added 1/2 the breading was Panko and the other 1/2 was regular. This added some texture. Then I doubled the recipe so 1 loaf had Baby Ray's and the other had the recipe's. Liked the recipe's sauce better. It was really moist and very tasty.

Chicken Potato Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2013
We really enjoyed this salad. Forgot the hard boiled eggs but added fresh bacon bits to the olive-oil infused mayo along with pickle relish, honey-mustard and some powdered mustard for a little more bite. Thank you,

Ground Beef Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2012
This was more a stew than soup so I added some beef broth with the water. I made it for a family of 12 but have no left-overs...too many people really liked it. It needs more seasoning so I used Mrs. Dash instead of salt. I used frozen veggies instead of canned for lower sodium and I did not peel the potatoes (for more fiber and vitamins). It was delicious and easy to make.

Serbian Ground Beef, Veggie, and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2011
this was an excellent quick meal for our large family of 11. I did make some minor changes. I did like others recommended by dicing potatoes and adding to ground beef then instead of 1/2 and 1/2 I used the beef juices etc and added a can of cream of mushroom soup. I also added garlic to the beef as it was cooking. I did not use the green or red peppers as we have some who cannot eat peppers. The youngest to the oldest (age 98) enjoyed this dinner.

Chile Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
I fixed this today with all the ingredients listed. My pork was already cooked so I put them all together and let sit for about 1 hour. Then I fixed the Pork Chili and used this after I sauteed the onions in olive oil, added the flour, tomato sauce, chili spiked diced tomatoes, canned sweet corn and about 5 cups of water. I let it all simmer about 1 1/2 hours and served with grated cheese. This fed a family of 12 with a little left over.
