New England Clam Chowder I

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2013
I omitted the water, used the clam juice and used 4 cups half and half and boiled the potatoes for 15 mins before adding to bacon and onion. My family loved it!

What a great recipe! I had never made chili before and I decided this one looked like a great one to try. I served it for a hungry crew of 12 and it was devoured! Thank you so much for sharing, its a keeper!

Perfect Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2010
Excellent recipe, I use Mexi pep for my hot pepper and I like the kick it brings out. I love that this is a nice alternative to the traditional mayo and mustard recipe. I took these to a picnic and they were first item that ppl came back for. Will make this my "go to" recipe for Deviled Eggs.

Egg Salad Sandwiches

Flavorful and simple to make. This recipe is great tool for teaching kids how to cook, esp. younger children if the eggs are already hardboiled.

Carne Asada Marinade

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
Very Delicious. My entire family begged for more. I put both lemon and lime juice in mix and added garlic powder to marinade as well as fresh garlic while cooking. Meat was very tender and moist.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2010
Very Easy and I love easy to make meals. I made up 2 tenderloins and I did add salt, pepper, and garlic salt rub. Very nice. I would have drained out the root beer an hour earlier and let the BBQ sauce ( I used Sweet Baby Rays Honey and a mix of Bullseye Tangy) have more time to really soak into the meat. Tomorrow's will probably taste even better. Family Approved. Goes great with slaw and beans.

Easy Butter Chicken

I just tried this tonight and it just had no real flavor and I was looking for a tender juicy recipe. The chicken came out semi dry. I will not make this recipe again.

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2010
Okay I made this dish first as a hoagie style sandwich (not bad but a bit messy) and then next day over noodles. That is the best way to serve in my opinion. My family really enjoyed it and I used Johnsonville Italian mini sausages. Some people have mentioned large grease factor but I had no grease or oil floatingin my sauce whatsoever. The sausages came out tender and the sauce is so much more flavorful on the second day. I used Jar sauce the chunky garden style and this is a great way to get your kids to eat more veggies. They may pick out the bell pepper chunks but what kid doesnt. I will use this recipe again.

Easy and Delicious. I opted to not use the cheddar cheese and instead just had cracked pepper, a little butter and some bacon. Yummy!

So Good! I paired this with a rib roast for Christmas and it was wildly popular. Very easy and quick to make, and it tastes so good. My kids loved it and they are not big veggie fans.
